Advanced Building Products was founded in 1983 by its current owner and president, Kris Anderson, along with his father, Hurbert Anderson, who retired in December of 1998.

Today, we handle all types of products to include; Certainteed vinyl siding, Hardie Plank, roofing products of all types, vinyl and aluminum windows, patio roofs and enclosures, rainware and a variety of accessories that compliment the mentioned products.

We began by manufacturing aluminum replacement and storm windows. ABP developed a unique and competitive advantage by providing a measure and install program which virtually eliminated all risks for their customers. This concept was well received and helped fuel growth in all other product areas which now includes distribution of "Residential exterior building products".

We have locations in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and Harahan, LA which is our headquarters. Over the years, we have grown to have a large fleet of specialized delivery vehicles to meet the needs of our customers. Couple that with approximately 80 of the most dedicated, knowledgeable and long term employees in the business and its obvious that we have a winning formula. For over 24 years this recipe for success has proven that ABP and its customers make a great team to serve the great people of Southern Louisiana.
